ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Our founder, Attorney Jon O. Markarian is a stout proponent of a culture of diversity. In fact, he firmly believes that one of the most important factors of being a good lawyer - and more broadly as a person in general - is having a diverse base of knowledge and experience in life and in business. It is this principle that he believes gives someone the important qualities of empathy and understanding. And it is with that fundamental principle that Markarian Law Firm was founded and has quickly developed a reputation of success.
A graduate of the University of California & Thomas Jefferson SOL, Attorney Markarian is also a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (US probate service/MTI, 2017) and is Certified in International and Comparative Law (University of London/ King's College, 2000). True to his firm belief of a broad and strong foundation, Attorney Markarian comes with a tried and proven background as a successful leader and entrepreneur with a diverse background ranging from industries related to wholesale and retail businesses, leadership positions on a number of boards, at the helm of a medium sized non-profit provider, as an investor, in politics as a sworn civil servant, a former small business owner himself; and, such a diverse foundation that spans more than 20 years.
Attorney Markarian is a former Federal Government attorney and practices law currently in California and in Washington, D.C. Moreover, Attorney Markarian is Markarian Law Firm's resident expert in all things business, real estate, probate.
Attorney Markarian usually splits his time between our Beverly Hills office and our Sherman Oaks office and he is routinely available to meet clients at either location (with certain restrictions and all applicable CDC precautions for the current COVID-19 pandemic.)
When not busy working, Attorney Markarian enjoys hiking, taking his mountain bike up the local trails of the Santa Monica and Santa Susana Mountains and, most importantly spending precious time with his wife, 3 children and his black lab named Simba.Type your paragraph here.
